IZVW - Center for Traffic Sciences (Germany)

The Center for Traffic Sciences is an institution within the University of Wuerzburg working on a wide range of traffic related research, e.g. driver analysis, development of driver assistance systems and simulation software. Currently, the staff consists of about 25 employees with different scientific background (e.g. psychology, computer sciences, engineering). Main contractors are car manufacturers, components suppliers, governmental institutions (e.g. Federal Ministry of Education and Research, Federal Highway Research Institute, European Comission) and research funding institutions (e.g. German Research Foundation).
