Assistant System

The concept is to combine multiple inputs from different environmental sensors, a camera, radar and GPS, in order to form a comprehensive, digital image of the long- and short distance neighbourhood of the vehicle. This data is fed to the virtual co-pilot which interacts with the vehicle and the driver on two levels: first a reflex level used in emergency situations and secondly a tactic level which is used for normal vehicle control. In both cases a feed back is generated which communicates to the driver the best way to reach a safe motion state at any instant of time.
